PRODUCT DETAILS

Column Grant L

Natural Oak Veneer

The Column Grant L in Natural Oak Veneer is an exquisite decorative object from the Eichholtz collection, designed to bring sculptural presence and curated refinement to every surface it graces. Introducing the ″Column Grant″ by Eichholtz, a stately addition to our collection, inspired by timeless architectural elements. Crafted from rich natural oak veneer.

Its robust presence makes it perfect for displaying sculptures, vases, or other cherished decor products. Explore the exclusive The Met x Eichholtz collection and enhance your interior with classical beauty. HISTORIC PROVENANCE The Column Grant is inspired by a set of six marble columns crafted in Granada, Spain, between 1350–1400 and now in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The columns originally belonged to the Alhambra, the famed royal palace-city in Granada meaning “the red one,” after the red clay of its construction. The narrow columns are characteristic of the Nasrid dynasty’s (1232–1492) architectural style, and would have ornamented outdoor courtyards between palaces. The Column Grant, crafted in a warm natural oak veneer becomes a museum-style plinth for presentation. Crafted to Eichholtz standards, it balances timeless European sensibility with modern ease — a statement piece that layers comfortably into living, dining, or bedroom settings. Thoughtful finishes and curated textures invite daily use while preserving a quietly luxurious presence. Meticulously crafted from marble/stone, wood, the Column Grant L possesses the kind of weight, texture and surface depth that signals authentic luxury. Each piece is considered not merely as an accessory, but as a compositional element that enhances the narrative of the room.

Proportioned at W. 16.0″ × D. 16.0″ × H. 47.0″, the Column Grant L anchors vignettes with quiet confidence — equally at home on a grand marble console as on an intimate bedside table. At approximately 74 lbs, its reassuring heft speaks to the quality of the materials within.

Layer it with complementary Eichholtz objects — bowls, vases, candle holders and sculptures — to build the kind of effortlessly curated still life that defines the world's most beautiful interiors.

More than mere decoration, the Column Grant L is a testament to Eichholtz's belief that the smallest details carry the greatest impact. Thoughtfully placed, it catches the light, draws the eye and invites a moment of quiet appreciation — the essence of living well.
