CARE
Care Instructions for Bar Table Tazio
(Brass (Brushed), Brushed Brass Finish, Ceramic Marble Look, Metal, Marble/Stone)
Daily Maintenance
- Dust metal surfaces regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to prevent build-up that can dull the finish.
- Wipe light smudges or fingerprints gently with a dry cloth to maintain a clean appearance.
- Dust marble and stone surfaces regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to prevent grit from scratching the surface.
- Wipe spills immediately — marble and natural stone are porous and can absorb liquids, leading to stains.
Cleaning the Main Material
- Wipe metal surfaces with a soft, barely damp cloth and follow immediately with a dry cloth to prevent water marks.
- For stubborn fingerprints or smudges, use a cleaner specifically formulated for the metal’s finish type.
- Avoid ammonia-based, acidic, or abrasive cleaners that can damage protective coatings and lacquered finishes.
- Clean with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a pH-neutral stone cleaner.
- Never use vinegar, lemon juice, or any acidic cleaner on marble or stone, as acid etches and dulls the surface.
Caring for Secondary Materials
- Clean stone or marble elements with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners and always use coasters on stone surfaces.
Placement & Protection
- Use coasters, trivets, and protective mats to shield the surface from heat, moisture, and scratches.
Handling & Use
- When moving, lift with two people from the strongest structural points. Never drag across the floor.
- Open and close drawers, doors, and extensions gently to avoid strain on hardware and joints.
Long-Term Preservation
- Give the piece a thorough clean several times a year, including less accessible areas.
- Inspect hardware, joints, and structural fixings periodically and tighten or replace as needed.
- Brass finishes may develop a subtle patina over time. This is natural and can be preserved or polished according to preference.
